Will Heath Ledger win the Oscar?
He has already been awarded a number of posthumous gongs this year and now Heath Ledger is tipped to pick up an Oscar this weekend. Ledger won Best Supporting Actor gongs at the Baftas, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild and Critics Choice Awards for his role as the Joker in the Dark Knight. It was one of Ledger's last films before he died of an accidental overdose in January last year. Access Hollywood film critic Scott Mantz has said the Academy Awards smart money is on Ledger. Mantz said: "If I'm gonna bet the house on any category at the Oscars this year, it's Supporting Actor. "Heath Ledger, the Dark Knight. It opened in July and ever since then people were saying he's gonna get nominated. Now he's been winning almost every award."
