Wigan manager says no to leading Newscastle United

Wigan's geordie manager Steve Bruce says he is flattered to be linked to the Newcastle manager's job but he is happy in his current role. Newcastle United were plunged into crisis after former manager Kevin Keegan quit following a dispute with the club over the handling of summer transfers. Bruce says ,like every other supporter, he hopes the beleaguered club can find some stability. He said: "It's quite unbelievable how football works - a month ago they get a draw at Old Trafford and everything is hunky dory. Within a couple of weeks, everything has filtered through into mayhem."
