What I Go To School For-Chapter 4
Chapter 4 *Over to school* The last bell rang. Nick and Jess both had history last, so they walked out together. "Wow, was that class boring or what?" Jess asked. "Haha, well to be honest, I kinda zoned out after five minutes," Nick laughed. "Me too! I always zone out in history, I think it's so boring," Jess replied. "I usually end up doodling." "Oh, yeah, I kinda saw your notebook," Nick said. "Oh," Jess blushed. Pretty much "doodling" constituted writing I Love Nick all over in hearts. "Hey, it's alright," Nick smiled. "So, uh, do you wanna hang out sometime this week? Like, just the two of us?" "You mean, like a date?" Jess asked. "Well, not if you don't want it to be like one," Nick said. "Oh, um, I dunno... well, what day were you thinking?" "Well what day are you free?" Nick asked. "I think tonight should be good. I know this great little pizza place not too far away from where I live. We could just walk there if you came to my house, that is, if you think you could go without being chased," Jess laughed and turned around. Everyone who had been staring quickly turned their heads away. "I think we'll be fine," Nick said. "Awesome! So I'll see you tomorrow," Jess smiled. "Cool!" Nick said, kissed her on the cheek, and walked away. When he was out of earshot, Jess squealed and ran off to call her sisters. Miley stepped out from around the corner, her lips pursed. "Like a date?" she said in a mocking voice. "Not if I can help it," she sneered, and walked off. *Over to Joshua and Chris, who are at Chris' locker, getting ready to leave* "What do you think the surprise is?" Joshua asked. "I dunno, but Miley didn't look too happy, did she?" Chris asked. "No, she really didn't, but everyone says she's a really nice person, so I guess we'll just see," Joshua shrugged. "But I thought you were going to die when AJ hugged you." "Dude, I did too," Chris laughed. "Uh, speaking of AJ..." Chris looked around, and AJ was walking towards them, with an entourage of guys trailing discreetly behind her. "You'd swear people had never seen a celebrity," Chris said to her when she reached them. "Yeah, why can't everyone act cool like you?" AJ laughed. "Hey! Don't take after Josh and Jess," Chris said. "Yeah, that's why she's making fun of you," Josh answered. Chris elbowed him. "Uh, anyways, you wanted to say something?" "Yeah," AJ smiled. "My sister and I are performing at this awesome teen club tonight called Club Rock. I was wondering if you two wanted to come, you could watch the concert from backstage and we could hang out in the club after." "That'd be amazing!" Joshua said. "But uh, what time would we be done? We kinda have school tomorrow, and I guess you do too." "Oh, well the show's at 7, and it's only about an hour and a half, and if you wanted to hang out, we could get you home by 10:30," AJ said. "I think we'll be good," Chris said, before Josh could say anything. "Do you want to meet Aly? She's picking me up now," AJ said, looking at a clock on the wall. "Sure!" They walked out into the parking lot, and AJ walked them over to a silver range rover. In the driver's seat was Aly Michalka. "Hey AJ, who are your friends?" she asked, waving at the two guys. "This is Chris and Josh. Do you think they could come to the concert tonight?" AJ asked. Aly looked at them and smiled, "Yeah, sure. We'll pick you up at around 5:15, ok? We kinda hafta be there early. That alright?" "That'd be awesome! Here are our addresses," Chris said, and scribbled their addresses on a piece of paper and gave it to Aly. "Cool, we'll see you tonight!" Aly said and rolled the window up. AJ got in the car, and they drove off. *Over to Briana, Kevin, Joe and Rachel* They had finished eating, and Joe and Rachel both had to go to the bathroom, leaving Kevin and Briana alone. "So, um, if that waitress comes over here again, do I have the right to throw my drink all over her?" Briana asked. "Permission granted!" Kevin smiled. Briana laughed. "But seriously, Briana. Lunch was amazing, and if you're free tonight maybe we could go out to dinner?" "Sure! I'm off from college for another two weeks, so that'd be awesome. Where were you thinking? Oh, and thanks for paying for this," she gestured at the mess on the table. "No problem! It was our pleasure! But wherever you like." "Well, I really love Olive Garden!" "Then Olive Garden it is! I'll pick you up at seven!" Kevin said. "Awesome!" End of Chapter 4! Chapter 5 will be really long, so I think I'm going to put it in different parts for everyone dates!
