We must vote for Manchester's Transport Innovation Fund Congestion Charge

Between now and the 11th of December the residents of Greater Manchester have the opportunity to vote yes or no to the Transport Innovation Fund package of £3 billion worth of investment funded by a peak time congestion charge. Do you want more than 10,000 new jobs for our city, £3 billion worth of capital injection into the economy and the security to our economy for years to come? Do you want less congestion, quicker car journey times and a system where 90% of people massively benefit? Do you want a charging system that charges only 1/10 people, those travelling into Manchester between the hours of 7 and 9.30 and those travelling out of Manchester between 4 and 6.30, Monday to Friday? Those travelling outside those times or in different directions will not pay. We do. So vote YES on Thursday's referendum in Manchester.
