'Wallace and Gromit' creators launch disabled characters

The creators of Wallace and Gromit have unveiled a new set of characters, who all have disabilities. Creature Discomforts has been created to highlight the discrimination and difficulties disabled people encounter. Aardman Animations, well known for their Creature Comforts series, teamed up with the Leonard Cheshire Disability charity for the project. The animation features six new animal characters, who are voiced by real-life disabled people. The adverts will appear on screen early in 2008.
