Israelis woke up to a new political reality on Thursday, hours after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced his intentions to resign once a new chairman of the Kadima Party is elected in the party's upcoming primaries on September 17. Some described Olmert as a miserbale character others said they though he was a good prime minister. The newspaper headlines screamed out "An end to Olmert's era," and "Olmert has left the stage." 07/31/08
