Vintage military helicopter crashes in CA

(NECN/KABC: Adelanto, CA) - A vintage military helicopter hit power lines and crashed and burned Saturday in San Bernardino County, California. All on board were killed. Authorities say three people were on board the Piasecki PV-18 helicopter that had just taken off from an airport in Adelanto, a city about 70 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Everything but the tail of the helicopter burned in the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The identities of the dead have not yet been released. read more
