Victims witness Madoff's sentencing

(NECN: Brian Burnell) - Disgraced financier Bernard Madoff received the maximum sentence for his multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme -- 150 years in prison. There was a similar crush of media and victims at the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan on Monday, similar to the crowd that gathered back in march when Madoff plead guilty. The courtroom was able to hold about 250 spectators. Among those were victims of Madoff's Ponzi scheme, nine of whom addressed the court. read more
