Kava, is both a plant and a beverage made from the roots of the Kava plant. Kava is grown on islands in Polynesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia. The worlds largest producer and source for kava is the Republic of Vanuatu. Vanuatu kava has something like 32 active components, making it the strongest kava in the world.The Republic of Vanuatu, formerly known as the New Hebrides, is an tropical archipelago of 83 islands located in the Southwest Pacific Ocean. Most of the islands are formed from the summits of volcanic mountain ranges rising from the ocean floor. It has a unique blend of intact tribal communities, resorts, beaches and geography ranging from accessible volcanoes to awesome diving experiences.
