USA: Six people killed in Atlanta bus crash

A charter bus carrying the Bluffton University baseball team from Ohio plunged off a bridge on to an interstate highway below on Friday morning (March 2). At least six people were killed and more than two dozen were injured. Local television reported that the bus driver, his wife and four players for school were killed in the crash. Nine people were seriously injured-- including the team's coach -- while police described 20 others as "walking wounded,", local television reported. The team was travelling to Florida for a game. Authorities believe the bus driver became confused at an exit lane split. The accident happened around 0530E (1030G) and snarled traffic for hours.
