The Golden parties continued well into the night on Monday (January 16) after Hollywood kicked off its annual award season with the Golden Globe Awards. Nominees, winners and other celebrities strode yet more red carpets as they made their way into one exclusive event after another. At the Warner Bros/In Style magazine party George Clooney said he was on his way to the bar while Jessica Alba commented that the night was a great opportunity to "come and hang and have fun and party. It's nice and you can dress up and be glamorous." At the nearby Focus Features party the stars of the show were the cast and crew of "Brokeback Mountain," the biggest winner of the night. Director Ang Lee said he was amazed that he was even able to make a film about two gay cowboys and have it received so well. "Not at all. I always thought it was, first of all I feel I am blessed that I can make this movie, that I'm allowed to make this movie and then I just imagined it was a very small movie, very restricted distribution but I'm so glad, it gave me hope that the culture embraced a film like this." he said. The "Brokeback Mountain" team had much to celebrate, with four wins at this year's Golden Globe awards.
