Paris Hilton and Britney Spears have been close friends lately, and the creator of the infamous "Worst-Dressed Women's List" just couldn't bear to separate them. Mr. Blackwell's 47th annual list pays homage to the pair, or the "screamgirls" as he calls them, for being the ultimate icons for fashion blunders last year. Spears, whose fashion choices made headlines in late 2006 when photographs of her stepping out of cars showed she wasn't wearing panties, has been a favorite target of Blackwell for the past six years. The self-appointed style guru made no direct reference to the singer's underwear choices, but described Spears and Hilton as "two peas in an overexposed pod." Following the pop princess' tie at the top is the "Duchess of Dowdy" Camilla Parker Bowles, and Lindsay Lohan, who Blackwell claims is "stuck in fashion's fast lane." Two other pop stars appeared on the list -- At the number four spot is Christina Aguilera, whose wardrobe choices last year were "all crass, no class" according to the list, and "queen of catastrophic kitsch" Mariah Carey is number five. "Fallen fashion idol" Paula Abdul takes the number six spot on the roster, followed by "over-the-hill Cruella Deville" Sharon Stone at number seven, and Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling is "all chills and no thrills" at number eight. "Grey's Anatomy" star Sandra Oh is "layered lunacy - from toes to nose" as the number nine spot, and Meryl Streep finishes the list at number ten for her wardrobe that almost made Blackwell Weep. Blackwell's list has become a Hollywood tradition over the decades, poking fun at icons ranging from Queen Elizabeth to Elizabeth Taylor. Blackwell was one of the top Los Angeles designers of the 1960s, creating fashions for the likes of Jayne Mansfield, Peggy Lee and Nancy Reagan. He urged the women on his 2006 list to emulate "fabulous fashion independents" like Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Barbra Streisand and Beyonce Knowles.
