Residents near Oklahoma City battle floodwaters and high winds after Tropical Storm Erin's wrath spreads through area. Residents of the area around Oklahoma City were stranded in their cars and trucks after flood waters and heavy winds moved through the area Sunday (August 19) morning. Homes and roads were flooded and the power out for thousands of residents and businesses. A possible tornado damaged buildings. Firefighters had to rescue travelers from a bus that got stuck in rushing water on Interstate 40. The firefighters tied a rope from their truck to the bus to help the passengers move to safety. No serious injuries or deaths have been reported.
