USA Basketball defeats China 101-70

(NECN/ABC) - In what some were touting as the most watched sporting event in the world, the United States Men's Basketball Team defeated China by 31 points on Saturday with a final score of 101-70. Dwyane Wade finished with 19 points for the Americans -- Lebron James with 18 and Kobe Bryant with 13. Yao Ming turned in 13 points for China. The United States could not get their shooting from behind the arc going, hitting just 7 of 24 three-point shots. They instead turned to Plan B, hitting 21 of 25 shots from inside the arc -- mostly an assortment of slam dunks. read more
