(NECN/KMGH: Denver, CO) - Snow returned to Colorado with a vengeance Saturday. Light snow started falling across the Front Range in the afternoon hours but by nightfall drivers reported whiteout conditions. Numerous accidents on area highways brought traffic to a crawl. Chains were required for semi-trucks heading to the mountains. A Winter Storm Warning was issued for Metro Denver, the foothills and northeastern Colorado from Saturday night through Sunday evening. read more
