UK air guitar hopefuls strut their stuff

Move over Eurovision - the UK Air Guitar championships are underway.With victory comes the opportunity to take on the world at the international finals later this year.The competition requires contestant to perform for 60 seconds to a song of their choice - minus the instruments.British hopeful David Ross, from London, revealed the secret to success in the event."You need technique, stage presence and 'airness' - the quintessential belief in sticking it to the man," he said.David missed out in his heat, but the lucky winner will be heading to Finland for the world final in September.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
