Family and friends have paid tribute to Lindsey Anne Hawker, the British woman found dead in a bathtub full of sand. The girl's father and boyfriend are believed to have flown out to Japan. At Miss Hawker's family home in Warwickshire, a steady stream of friends and wellwishers brought flowers to the door. Her family were too distraught to speak, but they made their feelings known through the police.Chief Inspector Dale Pritchard, of Warwickshire Police, said: "They are in a terrible position, one in which no-one would ever want to be.They just want to be left alone to manage their grief in private."The 22-year-old's body was discovered on an apartment balcony near Tokyo.A 28-year-old Japanese man who lived in the apartment fled when police arrived and is now being sought in connection with the death. The case comes about a month before a verdict is due in the trial of a wealthy Japanese businessman accused of killing British woman Lucie Blackman in 2000.Police found Ms Blackman's mutilated body buried in a seaside cave near the condominium of the businessman, who has denied the charges against him.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
