TRANSPORT: Rail: Closure of Reading to Paddington line due to plastics factory fire

Thousands of commuters could be affected after a fire closed a section of railtrack near Langley in Berkshire. The blaze broke out at a plastics factory and the threat of exploding gas-cylinders led to an exclusion zone. That has forced the closure of the Reading to Paddington line which may cause severe delays.
