
(NECN/WFTS: Tampa, Fla.) - No one was hurt after a US Airways plane made a hard landing this Saturday, according to Tampa Airport officials. According to a US Airways official, the Boeing 737 plane was landing just after 2:30 p.m. when the front nose tire blew, causing the nose of the plane to hit the runway. All 138 passengers and five crew members were not injured and were taken to a secure area. Flight 1241 took off from Philadelphia just before noon Saturday.
