This Glenn Ridge outback story focuses on the Australian Road Train. More commonly known as the 'Outback Road Train', a big vehicle for a big country. Road trains can be as long as 90 metres. Almost everything that comes in and out of the outback, rides on the back of a Road Train such as building supplies, clothing and food. The large cattle Road Trains are very common in Queensland, where as further out West, you will see more mining and fuel trucks rule. Road trains can weigh in at 160 tonnes.
