This Glenn Ridge outback story focuses on Ted Eagan, a legendary Australian recording artist based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. He has made more albums than most other Australian pop stars. Ted Eagan is one of Australia's best known bush balladeers. Ted came to Alice springs in 1949 with the hopes of travelling to Brazil to become a cowboy. Ted was born in Melbourne but fell in love with Alice Springs and never left. In this video we can see shots of Ted Eagan playing on a Fosters beer carton on stage.
