Teachers must be 'world class'

Teaching will become "a Masters-level profession" from September onwards, under plans announced by Children's Secretary Ed Balls.He also said league tables would be replaced by "report cards" containing details of such factors as discipline, healthy eating, and how each school helps students lagging behind.
