Tax Scandal – What are Germany's managers up to?

A huge tax scandal has emerged. More than 100 suspects are under investigation. And one man has already had to clear his desk: Klaus Zumwinkel is no longer head of the German Post Office. He is accused of having used foundations in Liechtenstein to evade taxes. What is up with Germany's managers? First, huge bribery scandals: Siemens bribing around the world, in Russia, in Nigeria... Volkswagen was caught bribing members of its works councils with travel, prostitutes, and millions of Euros... and the managers claim they knew nothing about it. Banks have gambled away billions, bringing themselves to the brink of ruin, and then the government - i.e., the taxpayer - bails them out. Are German managers destroying trust in business and the economy? A report by Holger Trzeczak .
