at 4000lbs without the landspeed ballast and was able to get better traction for the 1/4 mile. The Viper got such good traction that it twisted the drive shaft off the differential during the test and tune the night before the official PGD's. Luckily it was outfitted with safety equipment that saved the situation from becoming worse. Breaking parts is part of racing and SVS has had their share over the years.
