Study-High Blood Pressure Linked to Air Pollution

As the Olympic Games are set to get underway in Beijing China, there is a concern about air pollution levels in that city- not only for the athletes who compete, but for the hundreds of thousands of fans who will watch. Being exposed to high levels of air pollution can cause all sorts of breathing problems- and now scientists are saying it can impact your heart as well. For the first time, researchers have made a disturbing link between high levels of air pollution and high blood pressure.
