Stocks rocked by rate worries

May 24 - U.S. stocks suffered their biggest losses in two weeks as signs of economic strength prompted interest rate jitters. The Dow fell 84 points to 13,441. The Nasdaq tumbled 39 points to 2,537. Crude prices fell in New York, but rose near $72 a barrel in London. Conway G. Gittens reports from New York.
