Steelers Hold Off the Chargers Late Surge (PIT 38, SD 28)
Pittsburgh kept the Chargers scoreless in the first half, but San Diego gave the Steelers a scare when they scored 4TDs in the second half. The star of the night was undoubtedly Steelers sophomore RB Rashard Mendenhall who ran all over the Chargers for 165 yards and two TDs. We must give props to Philip Rivers who overcame a slow start to finish with 254 pass yards and 3 touchdowns (including 2TDs to TE Antonio Gates).
