State takes over key rail route

The UK's East Coast Mainline service between London and Edinburgh has been handed back to the government to run.Falling revenue and rising costs left National Rail unable to meet its payment obligations for the franchise.A government body called Directly Operated Railways will run the franchise for at least 18 months.Joe Lynam reports.
