Starsailor agree with Lily's label woes

Starsailor have revealed their album has also been delayed by EMI, days after Lily Allen hit out at the label. The Smile singer explained on her blog that her album was yet to be released because of staff redundancies. Frontman James Walsh said: "It's funny, because I was reading Lily Allen's comments about EMI delaying her album and it made me laugh because we're in a very similar situation. "We're waiting for EMI to give us a release date as well, but it's looking like January for the single and February for the album." EMI was bought by Terra Firma last year for £3.2 billion resulting in nearly 2,000 job losses. Starsailor's next album will be the follow-up to On the Outside.
