SPACE: Satellite probe to end mission by crashing onto moon's surface

The satellite probe taking photos of the Moon should end its mission in spectacular fashion. The Smart 1 probe is due to crash onto the moon's surface at 6.43 on 3rd September, at a speed of around 4 and a half thousand miles an hour. The impact will be so big that astronomers should be able to see it from Earth.
