Tony Blair has used the final leg of his African tour to condemn the leadership in Zimbabwe. He spent the day in Johannsberg, and spoke about decades of repression and an economy in chaos as a result of President Robert Mugabe's regime. In Harare there have been more protests, more violence and more arrests. While in South Africa he also met up with former South African leader Nelson Mandela who welcomed him to what he called the 'retired leaders' club. Meanwhile, Mr Blair urged rich countries to keep their promises to bring poor African countries out of poverty.
