SOUTH AFRICA: Opera Star Luciano Pavarotti arrives for two concerts

Italian opera star Luciano Pavarotti arrived in South Africa on Monday (January 1) for two concerts, both of which are sold out. The performances will be at Stellenbosch in the Cape winelands and in Pretoria. Pavarotti is also taking the opportunity for a vacation at a secret location in the Cape. On his arrival the tenor was welcomed by the Eersterivier, Elsies Rivier, Uitsig and Bishop Lavis (ERUB) Children's Choir.
