
(NECN: Worcester, Mass.) - 30 soldiers from the Massachusetts Army National Guard are back home with their families today. They arrived at the National Guard Armory in Worcester this morning after a tour of duty in Iraq. These members are from the Worcester-based Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Batallion, 181st Infantry Regiment. The soldiers are from all across Massachusetts and have provided operational command and control of a forward operating base near Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
