
(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - On this anniversary of the Iraq war, there is one New Hampshire soldier who longs to be back with his unit, but instead, Sergeant Scott Miller is in a fight of a different kind -- at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Miller was promoted to sergeant on Wednesday -- in the room in which he receives chemotherapy. Maj. Gen. Joseph Carter, Adjutant General of the Massachusetts National Guard, presented Scott Miller with his promotion papers, stripes and a plaque during a ceremony at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. read more
