Soccer clubs have relied heavily on borrowing money to secure big players and draw in the fans. But with the days of cheap money coming to an end, many clubs are being forced to think about their investments and investors. Prior to the season kicking off, owners of Manchester City, United Arab Emirates group signed Brazilian striker Robinho for 32,5 million pounds.
