Small stream in Lyndeborough, NH turns into big problem

(NECN/WMUR) - Repairs are underway after a normally small stream that runs down Winn Mountain in Lyndeborough New Hampshire turned into a big problem. Neighbors believe recent rains washed away beaver dams. Route 31 was closed temporarily shut down. The owner of a boat shop said he could hear the water rushing down the mountain. The Department of Transportation patched up a small section of the road. Permanent repairs will be made next week.
