Singer Brooke from Malta on her music style

Singer Brooke believes her music is nothing like anything else in the charts. Describing her influences, Brooke said: "I grew up listening to soul music and R&B, stars like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. But I have a different style from everyone else's. I try to make it as unique as I can". The 16-year old from Malta is a household name in her homeland, but now has her sights on success further afield. She is hoping her move to London will help. The teenager is now devoting all her time to music ahead of the release of her debut single in January 2010.
