Kelly Osbourne made her West End debut in front of a star-studded crowd, while her mum X Factor judge Sharon shed a tear.The TV star was spotted weeping as she attended her daughter's first appearance in Chicago at London's Cambridge Theatre but the exact reason for Sharon's emotional outburst was unclear.Kelly's rocker dad Ozzy Osbourne, Louis Walsh, supermodel Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse also turned up to see the young starlet play prison matron Mama Morton in the hit West End show.Following the show Walsh said: "Kelly was brilliant. She is only 22 years old and she did an amazing job singing live. Her mother was just emotional. That was her daughter on stage."The 22-year-old will be playing the role for a seven-week stint and her first performance was greeted with rapturous applause.Previous Mama Mortons have included Alison Moyet, Lynda Carter and Queen Latifah in the film version with Kelly being the youngest actress to take on the role.Kelly shot to fame after becoming an overnight star with her family in the reality show The Osbournes.She soon launched a singing career, and topped the chart in 2003 with the single Changes, a duet with her father.As well as various presenting stints, she was recently unveiled as a new agony aunt on BBC Radio 1.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
