Shane gets ratty in sewers

Shane Richie and hugh Jackman formed an unlikely partnership at the premiere of Flushed Away.The former EastEnders actor plays a London sewer rat in the animated film, while Hugh plays a snooty mouse.Shane admits he was amazed to be asked to join a cast that includes Kate Winslet, Sir Ian McKellen and Bill Nighy.He said: "It was a real honour to be asked - just seeing my name on the poster is brilliant."The film has been produced by the DreamWorks studio and Aardman Animations, the British company that created Wallace and Gromit.Hugh said: "It's great because I've got a little boy so finally he can see a movie I'm in."© Independent Television News Limited 2006.
