I have to support them off the pitch, that's my idea and that is important for me right now," he said. Fans lined up in the rain outside a large sports shop on Belgrade's main shopping street to get a glimpse of Figo and a few came away with his signature on a new football. Portugal are third in Group A of the Euro 2008 qualifying, level with Serbia on ten points. Poland lead with 13 ahead of Finland on 11. Only two teams from the group will qualify for the finals. Figo said it was a important match for both sides, but Portugal might have a slight edge. It is an important game for both national teams. Probably your (Serbia) national team is under more pressure because they lost their last game. Portugal comes from a good victory. But in the final this is really important because both teams are of the same interest, they want to qualify. Lets see what will happen," said Figo.
