Serbia denies genocide

Croatia holds the former Yogoslavia responsible for the murder and torture of thousands of Croats during the Bosnian War. A similar case involving the massacre of 8,000 Muslim by Bosnian Serbs in Srebrenica was brought before The Hague in 2006. But the court cleared Serbia of the charges saying it was guilty only of failing to prevent the genocide and punish the perpetrators.
