Semi Crashes Into Apartment Building

A semi-truck hit a pickup truck and then ran into an apartment building in Ocala on Friday. The semi was trying to cross 14th Street when the pickup pulled out in front of the semi. The driver of the semi tried to avoid the pickup truck, but lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the Magnolia Trace apartment complex, police said. Two people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital; no one was seriously injured. Firefighters constructed a wooden frame to stabilize the building so crews could remove the semi-truck.
