Secret filming nurse wins award

A nurse who was struck off in April for secretly filming the neglect of elderly patients at a Sussex hospital has won a national nursing award.Margaret Haywood won the Nursing Standard's Patient's Choice Award.Her undercover footage had been featured in a BBC Panorama programme.Ms Haywood won her battle to return to work in October.The High Court approved a settlement between her and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
