Sci-Tech Today: Cancer in animals

(NECN) - Cancer takes an incredible human toll every year, but it also claims the lives of animals. Researchers are now taking a closer look at that impact. In Sci-Tech Today, Dr. Susan Heilman joins us from the Museum of Science Boston to talk about just how many animals in the wild are affected by cancer, and how they get it. Also what does this research do as far as helping to better understand cancer in humans.
