School encourages pupil to lie-in

Dr Paul Kelley, head teacher at Monkseaton High School, North Tyneside, is encouraging his pupils to have a lie-in to see if it improves their concentration.Pupils are now starting their lessons at 10am.The school has made the change based on research from Oxford University which suggests that young people's body clocks shift as they begin their teens.Graham Satchell visited the school to find out more.
