Scarlett Johansson unveiled as new face of Mango

Actress Scarlett Johansson has taken over from Penelope Cruz to promote Spanish fashion label Mango. The beauty posed for photographers in Madrid after arriving in the Spanish capital to promote the fashion chain's autumn 2009 collection. Wearing a blue blouse with a black high-waisted skirt, Johansson posed for photographers at the Santo Mauro Hotel. According to the company, the Lost in Translation star was chosen to promote Mango's collection because of her "extraordinary personality which encompasses the ideal of the independent, cosmopolitan woman that Mango wants to dress". Cruz - Johansson's co-star in Woody Allen's Vicky, Christina Barcelona - has fronted Mango over the last four seasons. Other celebrities who have worked with the company include models Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer and Christy Turlington.
