San Fermin bull run kicks off

Most of the injured were hit by bulls as they made their way around the corner of Mercaderes, on the of the city's narrow streets. The running of the bulls takes place as part of the city's annual San Fermin festival which runs from 6th - 14th July. Tourists from around the world flock to the festival every year, made famous by Ernest Hemingway's novel, ''The Sun also Rises''.
