Sales boost from scrappage scheme
The government's "bangers for cash" scheme may be having an impact on the purchase of new cars.The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders says 176,000 thousand new cars were sold last month.The figures are still well down on this time last year but better than recent months.John Moylan reports.
