A Ron Paul supporter wakes up San Francisco Republicans after they cancel a straw poll after Ron Paul supporters streamed in. This GOP organization in San Francisco (not the official SFGOP) openly invited local Republicans to attend a Straw Poll with the intention of releasing the results to the media. The audience was forced to listen to a speaker endorsing Fred Thompson for about an hour or more. After a huge number of Ron Paul supporters who paid admission to the Straw Poll walked in to vote, the Straw Poll was abruptly cancelled. Various weak excuses were given by the organizer at the time and later on, such as saying the next day some of the people who showed up to vote were people "I didn't even know" even though she had accepted their admission fee prior to their entrance, and had forced them to wait more than an hour or two in the lobby outside of the event in order for them to cast their vote.
