Rod Stewart will be belting out his hits at a star-studded party celebrating the Prince of Wales' 60th birthday. The pop star whose famous songs include Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Maggie May and Sailing will entertain family and friends of the heir to the throne at his Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire. Stewart, an ambassador for Charles' youth charity the Prince's Trust, will provide the main musical entertainment at the party being hosted by the Duchess of Cornwall. Comics Sanjeev Bhaskar and Meera Syal, better known as the Kumars At No 42, are reportedly also on the entertainment bill. Amongst the guests are expected to be Princes William and Harry - their girlfriends Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy may also make an appearance. It is reported comic Stephen Fry, actors Edward Fox and Prunella Scales and author Jilly Cooper - all friends of the Prince - will be in the audience for the bash. Charles has spent much of the week marking his 60th birthday which he celebrated on Friday. The Queen hosted a glittering dinner party and concert at Buckingham Palace in honour of her son on Thursday. The previous night British comedy stars John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson and Bill Bailey lined up alongside veteran US stand-up Robin Williams to entertain the Prince during a comedy gala staged in south London. It was reported Camilla presented Charles with 60 birthday presents, but yesterday as he attended a concert for young children in London he joked the event was a "consolation" for him. The Prince said: "I'd been led to expect at least 60 presents from my darling wife on this occasion, but unfortunately I seem to have only ended up with one."
